Description
Minesweeper is a classic game that has been around since the beginning of computer gaming. It dates back to the 1960s when computer games were only known by geeks. However, anyone with a computer has probably spent countless hours playing Minesweeper.
The game is simple, but it requires skill and logic. To play, you click on a square, and the number you see indicates how many mines are in the adjacent squares. You can plant a flag in the squares you think have mine by right-clicking and opening the squares you believe do not. If you hit a mine, the game is over.
Now, it’s time to stiffen your nerves and stretch your brain. Get ready to take on the minefield here at FreeOnlineGames.co.uk! Share your high scores with your friends on Facebook. Good luck, budding Admirals!
Instructions
To begin the game, click on the “Play” button.
Use the left-click button on your mouse to select a square on the grid. If you choose a court with a bomb, you will lose the game.
The numbers on the board represent the number of bombs adjacent to a particular square. For example, if you see a “3” on a court, there are three bombs next to that square in any of the eight possible directions – up, down, right, left, and diagonal.
To win the game, you must avoid all the bombs and uncover all the empty squares. Try using the numbers on the board to determine where the bombs might be.
You can also right-click on a square with your mouse to place a flag where you think a bomb is. This helps you avoid accidentally selecting that particular square.
This game will work on all platforms, including Safari and mobile devices. However, we cannot guarantee it.
